River restoration hydrologist position, Olympic National Park
There is an exciting job opening now available for a hydrologist/ sediment monitoring person to work for the U.S. National Park Service (Olympic National Park) on the Elwha River, Washington, dam removal project in a federal government term position. Two large dams will be removed on the Elwha River beginning this September, in the largest dam-removal project in history.... a very interesting large-scale sedimentology, geomorphology, and ecological undertaking.
