Travel grants: IWA Montreal meeting

The IWA USA National Committee is making travel grants available to any US-based young water professional or student who is interested in attending the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Montreal, Canada (September 19-24) and who desires to make a difference in our field.  (Note: current IWA membership and US citizenship are not required in order to apply).

Deadline for Travel Grant Applications is July 15th.
 
The Montreal Congress offers many exciting and educational activities to the next generation of water and wastewater leaders. 
 
In addition to the many technical sessions, regional and industry forums, program workshops and international exhibitors, IWA has put together a compelling
YWP Program in Montreal that provides unique opportunities to learn, connect and share with seasoned professionals as well as peers from around the world:
  • Special YWP workshop on September 19 (included in the registration fee)
  • Career Fair
  • Meetings with IWA Council of Distinguished Water Professionals members
  • Mentoring by senior professionals from the IWA Network
  • YWP Corner to socialize with others (in Exhibition Hall)
  • YWP breakfast and reception
  • Opportunity to co-chair certain sessions
  • Free attendance at the YWP Award Ceremony and the 2010 Professional Development Award Ceremony
