TNC adaptation primer

Attached is a new Nature Conservancy (TNC) guidance document on climate impact assessments and ecosystem-based adaptation strategies. Not that long ago, the conservation community was reluctant to embrace adaptation.
Of course, that is no longer the case and now it is difficult to keep up with this rapidly growing field. The purpose of this primer is to provide TNC field staff with current information and resources for conducting impact assessments and developing and implementing adaptation strategies. The primer is not meant to be an exhaustive how-to handbook, but instead a resource base on climate change impacts and adaptation. In the primer you will find citations and web links to important papers, key web sites, decisions support tools, planning methods for adaptation, learning networks, case studies, and more. Please share with your science and conservation staff.

You can also download a copy of the primer from the Climate Team’s web
